Business Administration
The Business Administration curriculum introduces students to the free enterprise system. It offers fundamental knowledge of business functions and processes, and an understanding of business organization and operation in today’s global economy.
Coursework includes business concepts such as management and marketing. Skills related to the application of these concepts are developed through the study of computer literacy, communication, team-building, and decision-making.

Culinary
Arts
The Culinary Arts curriculum provides specific training required to prepare students to assume positions as trained culinary professionals in a variety of food service settings including fine dining full-service restaurants, hotels, resorts, clubs and cruise lines.
Coursework includes hands-on culinary fundamentals, professionalism and provides the critical competencies to successfully meet industry demands. Courses also include sanitation, menu planning, baking, Garde Manger, advanced culinary arts, and hospitality supervision.

Early Childhood Education
The Early Childhood Education curriculum prepares individuals to work with children from birth through eight in diverse learning environments. Students who complete the A.A.S degree will have the option to transfer 60 credits to UNC Member schools with Early Childhood programs for a bachelor’s degree.
Coursework includes child growth and development; physical/ nutritional needs of children; care and guidance of children; and communication skills with families and children. Students will learn to foster the cognitive/language, physical/motor, social/emotional, and creative development of young children.

Emergency Medical Science
The Emergency Medical Science program provides high-quality instruction in emergency medical care to prepare students for N.C. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) credential. EMS students apply learned concepts and skills in real-world settings through field clinical experiences. Proof of vaccinations, criminal background check, and drug screen must be obtained and provided to be eligible for EMS courses. Students with vaccine exemptions will not be eligible for this program.
Due to regulatory requirements in EMS programs, students will not be eligible for a 13th-year option.

This curriculum prepares students for employment with organizations that use computers to process, manage, and communicate information. It provides hands-on experience that allows students to implement, support, and customize industry-standard computer information technology.
Coursework includes computer systems terminology and operations, operating systems, data communications, networking, hardware and troubleshooting, and office application support.

Our Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degrees are designed to give students marketable skill sets as the foundation of a promising career. Students will have opportunities beyond the Wake Tech Certificate to earn additional credits toward the A.A.S. degree.
Optional classes will be offered after school in a 5th-period setting and during the summer. Students will have additional opportunity to work toward completing the degree by becoming full-time college students during the 13th Year, tuition-free (with the exception of EMS).
Focused and motivated students will acquire skills (by means of certificates, credentials, & A.A.S degree) to advance their education and potential careers.
