Application Process

You will need time to submit a complete Early College application. The application includes a student-written essay, recommendations from the ELA teacher, the math teacher, and a school administrator or school counselor, plus two years of prior grades, current grades, and two years of prior standardized test scores.

Explore

We encourage you to first explore North Wake College and Career Academy by attending and information sessions and campus tour.

Be Enrolled in WCPSS

  1. If you are not already enrolled, you need to enroll in your base school for your address. Find your base school.

  2. You can start your enrollment forms online at wcpss.net/enroll

  3. Once enrolled, create your parent account at earlycolleges.wcpss.net/apply. You must have an active student ID number.

Begin Application

Complete your application in the parent account. You will be notified of the results

on Feb. 19, 2021.

Application Priorities

Priority 1: Siblings of existing students receive guaranteed priority. The sibling must have an Early College application score of 70+ in order to receive this priority.

Priority 2: Students whose application score is 90-100, selection based on an applied random number.

Priority 3: Students whose application score is 80-89, selection based on an applied random number.

Priority 4: Students whose application score is 70-79, selection based on an applied random number.
